5 Steps to a Better Night's Sleep
Having a good night's sleep has some great benefits to consider such as a better mindset, lower risk of certain health problems, weight control, reduce stress, energy booster to get through the day, and much more. So how do we make this happen and keep the momentum throughout your daily life?
Here are some great tips to start with:
Rise and Shine Routine - Having at least 30 mins of sunshine in the morning
Avoid Caffeine - This is a stimulant that prevents a person from falling asleep at a reasonable time
Stop Exercising at least 2-3 hours before bed - This impacts your heart rate and sleep cycle which causes your body to produce growth hormones that keep you awake longer
Reduce blue light exposure - Switch your phone to "Do Not Disturb" mode, computer, tv screen to reduce EMFs at least one hour before bed
Try to maintain a consistent sleep pattern - to help alter your sleep rhythm, get into the habit of going to bed and waking up at the same time each day.
